Every now and then something comes along that rocks you. I don't mean rocks in a musical sense (before you start getting melodic on me), i mean getting knocked off your feet. People will tell you that these things happen when you least expect them. Well of course they do, it would somewhat reduce the impact if you could see it coming. But when it does come you realise that your life isn't going to go the way you thought it was.
You've probably experienced something like that before. As you grow up and find your own place in the world, you come to accept that things aren't going to be the way you once pictured them being. But sooner or later you'll find a degree of happiness and take it forgranted. Complacency is as sure to follow contentment as night is to follow day - and you've got about the same chance of stopping either.
So when something shatters this, you have re-evaluate, re-prioritise, and re-group (see all the 're' words - a primary indication of change!). Until you can accept the fact that things have changed, and there's nothing in the world you can do to make it the way it was before, it's very difficult to move forward.
I have recently embarked on the voyage into my new world and I hope you enjoy reading about my discoveries. Welcome to the revolution.

Try to do one thing this weekend that you'll regret not doing if you keep putting it off.
